National Standards Institute, the regulatory
agency that develops standards for performance, dimensions, and safety.
ANSI coded bulbs can be identified with a nationally-recognized
number
system, indicating that they meet ANSI standards. |
Bulb Source lists bulbs by
the ANSI code. Most of the time, for Projectors and Slide equipment, the
3 letter ANSI code will be printed at the base of the lamp. It may also be
on the equipment itself.
